This really needs no introduction. Honestly - I could start a Blog dedicated to Knight Rider, and never run out of stuff to say, so Ill keep this short.
Ill start with the intro that was narrated by James Earl Jones aka Darth Vadar:

We all know the story: Michael Long, Shot in Face, Resurrected, Michael Knight, The Car (a bit camp), The Foundation, The Hoff (Embodiment of Masculinity), Devon Miles, The Truck. Bonnie (Fit) and so on. And we all had the toys.
In reality the Trans-Am is complete crap, but luckily they had a Molecular Bonded Shell fitted to it. Honestly, if I had to have a crime fighting car in real life I would rather have a Citreon BX.
Ok I’l admit it. it was the coolest car in the whole world. At the time. Closely followed by the Firebird from Smokey and the Bandit. Yeah.
Some great quotes: Gimme all ya got Kitt & With all due respect Michael, you are not possibly thinking of... Oh my word, you are!
The best episode is when they dig up K.I.T.T.s evil cousin and they fight with lasers. I remember in one episode, that Michael also had an evil twin, Garthe Knight I think. This guy was also played brilliantly by the Hoff, except he had a beard. Obviously. He was evil and therefore had to have a beard.
It all got a bit stupid when they brought in Super Pursuit Mode. And Knightrider 2000? What the hell was that? Apparently they are remaking it again this year. If it has the Hoff in it I’ll watch it. You can spend hours combing memories of all of this and more here:

I used to watch this show religiously! My boss at work used to have the Knight Rider theme song set as his cell ringtone. Cracked him up one day when I recognized the song when it was going off!

okok i think you're right!!! It was Richard Basehart who played Wilton Knight! I stand corrected, and will forever be embarrased by my poor knight rider knowledge. I now need to watch every eopisde to brush up. Yeahhh!
Can you exlpain your reasoning for calling the 82 Trans Am Crap? They are great handling Cars and are extremely aerodynamic.
No, I truly believe they are cool. I went to a car show in London last month, and they had a fully functioning replica of K.I.T.T..... very cool!
Never actually been in one, but I'd love to - my reasoning behind believing they are crap is pure rumour and speculation. I'm sure they're lovely!

I think the life in the 80's was cool. Same as tv shows at that time were cool. The best 80's show is Knight Rider Tv Show and till now the people are watching that tv show.
